The original Hollywood Stars won two championships, however were seen as a secondary team in Los Angeles. The team relocated, but a new Hollywood Stars team soon returned with an ownership group featuring actual Hollywood actors. Not surprisingly, the team became the first baseball team to regularly televise games. The Stars were forced to relocate when the Dodgers came to Los Angeles.
