The Texans started off by making it to the Arena Bowl in their first season. Unfortunately this early success may have hurt the team long term. Coach Ernie Stautner left for an NFL job after the season, leading to a new head coach in every season. The Texans never reached the heights of their first season and eventually folded due to financial problems.
