The Wranglers went all in for 2006 when Deion Sanders purchased an ownership stake, making their first and only playoff appearance with a 10-6 record. Following the season, the league's substitution rules were changed and the team spent big on free agents hoping to continue on their success. Unfortunately, the team had a terrible season and moved to the AF2 before folding due to financial problems.
