Team Info
The Toronto Northmen were planned to be one of the original teams in the World Football League in 1974. In response, the Canadian Football Act was formed banning US leagues in Canada. As a result the "World Football League" only had American teams and ownership renamed the team to the Memphis Southmen which would later be known as the Grizzlies.
