The San Jose Sabercats played from 1995-2015 at SAP Center. The team was coached by Darren Arbet during most of its existence including its 4 championships in 2002, 2004, 2007 and 2015. Following the 2015 championship, the owners decided to cease operations due to league instability. The trophy was never returned to the league and players did not receive their championship rings.
