Team Info

The Arizona Wranglers played 2 seasons in the USFL from 1983-84. In the inaugural draft the Wranglers picked Eric Dickerson who instead chose to go to the NFL. The team finished in last place, but made an unprecedented move in the offseason. The Wranglers traded their entire roster including the coaching staff with the Chicago Blitz, one of the best teams in the league. The Wranglers made it to the championship game in 1984 which would prove to be their last game as the team merged with the Oklahoma Outlaws the following season.
