Team Info

The New York Stars played in the World Football League in 1974. Home games were held at Downing Stadium where legendary Yankees PA announcer Bob Sheppard served the same role. Ultimately, stadium conditions were not adequate for professional football and the team relocated to Charlotte mid-season.
