Team Info

The Florida Blazers played in the World Football League in 1974 at Florida Citrus Bowl. The team was coached by Jack Pardee who led them to the only World Bowl ever played. The Blazers lost the game 22-21 after a controversial call in which a Blazers touchdown was ruled a touchback when the carrier lost the ball out of bounds after crossing the goal line. In the offseason the team moved due to financial problems and became the San Antonio Wings.
