Oklahoma/Arizona Outlaws USFL Jersey
Team Info
The Outlaws played two seasons in the USFL from 1984-85. The team originally planned to play in San Diego, but due to stadium lease issues moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Hall of famer Sid Gilman was hired to assemble the roster, however he was fired before the first game. Gilman was able to make a major move in his short time, signing QB Doug Williams away from the Buccaneers. In 1985, the Outlaws merged with the Arizona Wranglers and became the Arizona Outlaws. When the USFL folded following the season, the Outlaws attempted to join the CFL but were unsuccessful.
