Sacramento Surge Jersey
The Sacramento Surge played 2 seasons from 1991-92 in the World League of American Football. Former Buffalo Bills QB and coach Kay Stephenson served as head coach while Jack Youngblood was in charge of special projects and worked as a broadcaster along with Ronnie Lott and long time 49ers announcer Joe Starkey. The team won the 1992 World Bowl, which would prove to be their last game as the Surge. Following the 1992 season, the league suspended play to restructure and the Surge joined the CFL as the Sacramento Gold Miners.
