1952 Portland Beavers Jersey
The original Portland Beavers began play in 1901, eventually taking the Beavers name in 1903. Over the next century, professional baseball in Portland would come and go but the Beavers name remained a tradition. In total, four separate organizations used the Portland Beavers name, winning 9 championships. The teams played at Vaughn Street Park in the early years and later at what as known as PGE Park during its last years as a baseball stadium. The Beavers played their final season in 2010, when the stadium was remodeled for soccer and the team was left without a home.
