Phoenix Roadrunners Jersey
Team Info
The Phoenix Roadrunners began play in the Western Hockey League in 1967. The team experienced great success winning back to back championships in 1973 and 1974. When the WHL folded following the 1973-74 season, the Roadrunners joined the WHA. The team made the playoffs in its first two seasons, but financial problems took a toll in the 3rd year. The Roadrunners were forced to sell players resulting in their worst season and folded shortly after.
